Thanks to craven politicos and their loyal lapdogs, Islam has found a 'safe space' in the bosom of Western civilization. And in this safe space (as in all others) criticism of the so-called religion of peace is strictly prohibited.
Think I'm kidding? When was the last time you heard a leading political figure from America or Europe openly criticize the misogynistic practices and dogmas of Islam?
In fact, such female leaders as Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren and Great Britain's PM Theresa May have discussed the 'virtues' of Islam while wearing the hijab. The feckless four are of the strident opinion that Islam is among the most liberating forces in the world for women.
And, as a result of such mindless and incredibly vacuous leadership, many local governments in the West have actually established Hijab Day in order to show solidarity with Muslim women in their communities. But those who have dared to proffer criticism of such a maneuver are labeled 'haters' and 'Islamophobes.'
Truth be told, all of Europe is on the verge of collapse because even the most tepid critique of Islam is prohibited in the safe space. Just ask Dutch politician Geert Wilders what happens when you speak the unvarnished truth about Islam in said space.
Speaker of the US House of Representatives Paul Ryan has repeatedly defended Islam by not only funding former President Barack Obama's extremely dangerous Muslim refugee policies, but by also stating that Islam is one of the great and peaceful religions of the world.
Speaker Ryan has even stated that Muslims are working hard in the House every day to "uphold and to defend the Constitution."
Manifestly the Speaker was referring to Rep. Keith Ellison, America's first Muslim congressman. Ellison was sworn in while placing his hand on a Koran rather than the Bible which is customary.
While Ryan was busy touting Ellison's arduous endeavors to protect our Constitution, he failed to mention that the very book Ellison placed his hand on contains at least 109 versus that demand Muslims to engage in violent jihad against Jews and Christians.
But, of course, Speaker Ryan would never mention that the Koran contains such barbarity - because to do so would be an egregious violation of the safe space.
